I have an interesting issue with printing in Citrix. I have googled, and searched here and I have found nothing on this, so hopefully someone can assist me. I inherited this system, so I am lost on where to check next. OK, here is my issue. Most of our Users are using the EMF Viewer when printing in Citrix. Printing this way works fine for the most part. Something came up the other day, and I have no idea how long it has been like this. When using the EMF viewer, it will only print one copy of the document.

Even when selecting 3, it still only prints one. Doesn't matter what printer or what document. We are using HP Printers with the UPD. Any input on this would be greatly appreciate. I have checked everywhere in the policy and cannot seem to find anything that controls the number of copies. Like you, at one time I inherited an existing Citrix environment and printing was one of the biggest headaches.

It all had one solution: Screwdrivers. It solved all of our Citrix related printing issues and gave me time to focus on other issues.Used it for years, and it just worked. It worked when our environment was 2003, and 2008 R2 when we wanted to use 64 bit drivers. All kinds of printers used everywhere and it just didn't matter, because with only a little setup, printer problems that used to take endless hours of support time dropped dramatically.

The Citrix Universal Printer driver has an option to preview a print job using the Windows Enhanced Metafile, or EMF, viewer. The viewer enables you to select a destination printer and displays the printed result in a preview window as it will appear when you print it. An EMF view is more accurate than selecting 'Print Preview' with the Citrix Universal Printer. Although the EMF viewer is selected by default, you can change the default if you don't want to use the viewer each time you print with Citrix.
