The scanner will still not come up in your list of devices, but if you're just looking to scan- of you open irfan view, go to file- select scan/twain source, your device should be listed there! Select it.Then you can just go to file acquire- and it will work.That being said- this is NOT a perfect solution, bottom line is the scanner is NOT perfectly compatible since TWAIN appears to no longer be prefered.
